About this Blog

I’m a fan of many thought leaders who practice mindful and servant  leadership. Through my life experiences and research, I have found that there is one common theme with those who are truly successful in life – they understand and continually practice Personal Mastery concepts.

These individuals understand deeply who they are, their values, beliefs, natural strengths, and weaknesses. They regularly set personal and professional goals and take daily steps to achieve them. Their habits reflect their intention and attention towards desired change.

Personal Mastery, according to Peter Senge is “the discipline of continually clarifying and deepening our personal vision, focusing of our energy, developing patience, and seeing reality objectively.” It guides our principles such as our purpose, values, beliefs and vision. It is a commitment to knowing and having an intimate relationship with ourselves.

People with a high level of Personal Mastery live in a continual learning mode; it is a lifelong process in which the journey is the reward. When we can understand this we are happier, healthier and more effective in our personal and professional life.
